Catholic Prayers

Our Father
Our
Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Return
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Return
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the
Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall
be. Amen.

The Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of
Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, his only son,
our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born
of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended
into hell; on the third day he rose again from the
dead. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the
right hand of God, the Father almighty. He will come
again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in
the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the
communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.

Act of Contrition
My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In
choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have
sinned against you whom I should love above all
things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do
penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads
me to sin.

Peace
Prayer
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as
to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.

Come Holy Spirit
Come, Holy Spirit, and fill the hearts of your
faithful, and kindle in them the fire of your divine
love. Send forth your spirit, and they shall be
created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.
O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit
instructed the hearts of the faithful, grant, that
by the same Spirit we may be truly wise and ever
rejoice in his consolation. We ask this through
Christ our lord. Amen.
Return
Hail, Holy Queen
Hail, holy queen, mother of mercy, our life, our
sweetness, and our hope. To you we cry, poor
banished children of Eve. To you we send up our
sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn, then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of
mercy towards us, and after this, our exile, show
unto us the fruit of your womb, Jesus. O clement, O
loving, O sweet virgin Mary! Amen.
Return
Prayer of Divine
Mercy
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins and save us from the
fires of Hell. Lead all souls to Heaven, especially
those most in need of your Mercy. Amen.
Return
The Jesus Prayer
Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on me, a
sinner.
Return
Prayer
to St. Michael the Archangel
Saint Michael the archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares
of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host,
by the divine power,
cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of
souls.
Amen.
Return
Guardian Angel
Prayer
Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom God's love commits me here,
Ever this day be at my side
To light, to guard, to rule, to guide.
Amen.
Return
Table Blessing
Bless us O Lord, and these thy gifts,
Which we are about to receive, from thy bounty,
Through Christ, Our Lord.
Amen.
